Whatever kind of terrain you prefer, you’ll find it at Whitefish Mountain Resort near Whitefish, Montana. This great 9-day, 8-night trip includes an extra ski day opportunity and the mid-week travel provides better airfare. Our on-mountain lodging at the Kandahar Lodge means skiing is just outside the door.

With 3,000 acres of terrain, 2,500 feet of vertical, 320 inches of annual snow, 105 runs (half rated blue and green), and 14 lifts, Whitefish Mountain Resort was voted #3 in the west by the readers of Ski magazine in 2020. The peak elevation of 6,817 feet should be perfect for most. The resort is just 19 miles from Kalispell’s Glacier Park International Airport and is only 8 miles from the town of Whitefish which is served by a free mountain shuttle days and evenings.

The day trip to Fernie Alpine Resort, BC, Canada will give us the chance to sample one of the resorts on Canada’s Powder Highway. Enjoy 2,500 acres of skiing with 70% rated blue and green. The 106 named runs, 5 enormous bowls, and countless glades -- all covered in an annual average of 29 feet of snow -- await your arrival.

You must be a member of the Peninsula Ski Club or another BRSC-affiliated club to sign up for this trip. BRSC affiliates should contact the Trip Captain for registration information.

Special cancellation fees apply:
- before Sept. 10: $35
- Sept. 10-30: $70
- Oct. 1 or later: the greater of $70 or all unrecoverable costs
Cancellation Policy:
Payments for this trip are subject to the following non-standard cancellation fees: (a) $35 if cancelled up to the date of the September meeting, or (b) $70 if cancelled after the September meeting date and before the stated refund cutoff date for the trip, or (c) if cancelled after the stated refund cutoff date, the greater of (i) the club's unrecoverable costs or (ii) $70.
